There is a selection of ideas below to guide you in your prayers:

We would like to praise God for...

• The RE day held at Trinity School in Bromley – for the teachers and pupils who considered ‘Who is Jesus to me?’. The praise party at the end of the day was awesome!
• Some new volunteers joining the team this term.
• Workshops led by Spinnaker Bromley at the Bromley Schools Festival, attended by Year 5 pupils from 8 local primary schools. Based on Isaiah 61, activities helped children to know and understand how they can make a difference by sharing the good news of Jesus.
• Prayer spaces that have been so well received in Eastbourne schools.

We would like you to pray for...

• Our new resource is being written and prepared for September called ‘Beyond Belief – Values into Action’. This resource focuses on 39 of the most popular values adopted by schools and how each of them is rooted and grounded in the Christian Faith. We pray that these worships will inspire children to have a deep awareness of the divine reality of the Kingdom of God.
• New volunteers keen to join our Lewisham Hub. Also, for Clare and Stephen as they oversee the recruitment and induction process.
• The health and well-being of our team as they come to the end of a very busy term and as they make preparations and bookings for all their schools work for the new academic year.
• The development of new initiatives including prayer spaces and additional support for schools' work practitioners. 

Praying for your local schools...

Children, teachers, support staff and parents are all involved in making schools the places where our future is shaped. From many directions those in schools face pressure - whether it is to learn or to teach; to keep records or to balance the books, the pressure is there.  There are a number of ways in which you can support schools in prayer:
