This pack explores four Easter themes, to help children find out about Jesus and what his death and resurrection means for Christians. The themes are clearly ‘theological' meaning that they take their lead from Christian themes rather than a thematic or chronological approach usually adopted for this age group.

Each unit has

• a story or poem set in the context of the Easter story from John's or Luke's gospel
• a suggested old and new testament reading
• an illustration for projection or use in class work
• a simple explanation of the theme for the adult leading the session
• some activity ideas
