startingpoints2From the special attention a new baby needs, to an artist painting a picture, Starting points is a collection of one off assembly ideas that have been used over the years by Spinnaker team members, usually to fit with a theme suggested by a school.  They are meant to be used as the name suggests, as starting points for your creative planning.  Often they include a number of ideas to choose from, or a choice of Bible stories for you to find the right one for your setting.  

A new baby

Babies are special and need lots of care.  We are all part of God's creation.  Christians believe God gives us the care that we need.  While our needs change as we grow, what doesn't change is that we need God.

The broken penguin

Coping with disappointments.  When Mrs Davies the cleaner at Brockwood School knocked over one of the children's model penguins, she felt terrible.  The time and effort that child must have put into getting it just right, and now it was ruined.  How do we cope when something happens that disappoints us?
