Luke Street

PLG_VOTE_USER_RATING

Using the Christmas season as a starting point, this term’s theme picks up from the Christmas story of the Baby born in a stable and laid in a manger because “there was no room in the inn”.

We are challenged this term to examine our lives to see whether we allow room for Jesus. Stories in the Gospel of Luke show us how Jesus met with people, often in their homes, where they were challenged to welcome Him and His teachings, or reject His teachings, and so reject Him at the same time.

We are challenged this term to examine our lives to see whether we allow room for Jesus.

When we love Jesus, we will obey Him because only then is it possible for Him to be comfortable and for us to be comfortable with Him in our lives. John 14:23 Jesus said: If you love me, you will obey me. Then my Father will love you too, And we will come and live with you And we will be at home in your life.
